The biologists at WLPR have been busy treating ponds for algae and Sago Pondweed. Given the unseasonably warm spring, most ponds are growing unsightly amounts of algae. To combat the large algae blooms, we have been applying bacteria and enzyme mixtures to help tie up nutrients and break down organic material. Remember.....nutrients are our worst enemy when managing ponds!!!!
